Pala-U Waterfall is a large waterfall with 15 levels, cascading down in a long path. Levels 1-3 are suitable for swimming. The most beautiful level is Level 7, which has a large pool amidst a shady forest. Most tourists only reach Level 7 to appreciate the beauty of the waterfall, as the higher levels require climbing over steep rocks. From Level 7, there is a three-way intersection. If you go right, you will reach Khlong Pran Waterfall, which takes about a day to reach. If you go left, you will enter Pala-U, which is home to the Karen and Karen people. Not far from Level 15, you will reach the Thai-Myanmar border.
